Dr. Anders Cohen Treats, Teaches and Inspires

In the city of New York, Dr. Anders Cohen is a highly regarded surgeon not only for his success in treating patients, but also because of his ability to inspire others to deliver quality healthcare.

A chief of Brooklyn Hospital Center’s Neurosurgery Department, Dr. Cohen conducts craniotomy or brain surgery, spinal fusion, disc surgery, kyphoplasty, lower back surgery and minimally invasive surgery. He is a pioneer in performing XLIF, AxiaLIF (Trans1) and dynamic rod procedures, which he does using the latest equipment.

More importantly, he teaches others about these developments in the world of neurosurgery. Dr. Cohen is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Further, he is a frequent lecturer in various international conferences.
